Hi everyone. My name is Justeen Brown-Veldman and I've always been an artist. I like to work in different media including but not limited to watercolor, acrylic, graphite, colored pencil, and pen. I strive to create whimsical, imaginative artwork for both children and adults to enjoy. The natural world fused with fantasy is often my inspiration when creating a piece of artwork.

 

I've worked for 22 years now as an artist, illustrator, art teacher, graphic designer, and business owner doing an array of commission work from indoor mural painting to custom paintings, website, and logo design.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, as well as a Digital Layout and Design Certificate from Peninsula College. I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my husband and two wonderful children,  ten chickens, and one mischievous cat.
